Grodan rock wool block 4x4x4,5 cm (2250 pieces)

Grodan (rock wool) is manufactured by the Danish company Grodan. In this process, Swedish basalt is melted at approx. 1500° C and spun into an insulating material. By adding non-toxic phenolic resin during the cooling phase, a hydrophilic (water-friendly) material is obtained for horticulture. Grodan is often used in commercial horticulture. In the amateur sector, mostly for seed cultivation or cuttings propagation.

The rockwool cubes are ideal for growing from seed or for cuttings and can be further used in soil and hydroponics.

The dimensions are 4x4x4,5cm with one hole each.

The rockwool blocks must be watered before first use.
